What's the difference between semi-custom and RTA cabinets?

RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinets come in fixed standard sizes and ship flat for quick assembly. Semi-custom cabinets are produced to order, so door and panel sizes can be adjusted to your layout — the trade-off is a production lead time of 15–24 business days.

What's the difference between semi-custom and fully custom cabinets?

Fully custom cabinets are built from scratch to any specification — any dimension, material, or one-off design — at a much higher price. Semi-custom modifies an existing factory line: you pick the style and finish, and sizes are adapted to your kitchen.

What can be modified on a semi-custom cabinet?

Door sizes and panel sizes can be made to your specifications. Cabinet boxes (carcasses) remain standard.

How long do semi-custom cabinets take?

Production time is 15–24 business days, plus shipping time.

How much do semi-custom cabinets cost?

Pricing depends on your layout, finish, and modifications. Start with our free 3D kitchen design and your designer will walk you through pricing for your actual kitchen.

Which finishes are available?

The library above is a curated selection of over 50 finishes: 25 wood grains, 25 solid matte and gloss colors, and 9 Shinnoki natural veneers. More finishes are available — ask your designer about a color you don't see here.

When a project asks for more than semi-custom.

Semi-custom covers most kitchens beautifully — made-to-order sizing, European frameless construction, finishes chosen to fit. A few projects ask for more: unrestricted dimensions, rare materials, a designer collaborating from the first sketch. For those, our sister studio Lucetti builds fully bespoke cabinetry.
